Your new job includes
As a Category Development Manager (m/f/d), you play a key role in shaping and developing global category concepts within Travel Retail. This position focuses on strategy, analysis, and cross functional collaboration.
In particular, you will
analyse global market, supplier and mega trends and assess their potential for Travel Retail
contribute to the development of the global category strategy together with the Head of Global Category
define and further develop global category concepts and ensure consistent implementation
act as an interface to local Category Managers across markets
collaborate closely with Buying on supplier and innovation strategies
manage category and promotion concepts together with Marketing
implement test and learn approaches and derive optimisation measures
develop recommendations based on analyses, KPIs and performance data
moderate global category reviews and identify best practices
What you should bring along
a successfully completed degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship with comparable additional qualification
at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally from purchasing or category management, as well as a passion for the product category perfume & cosmetics
confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
fluent in written and spoken German and English
analytical strength, so that it is easy for you to evaluate complex information and to work out solutions independently
an open-minded and at the same time assertive personality, who finds it easy to build up good relationships with interfaces and to consistently pursue product range goals
