Work Arrangement
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Format: Hybrid (2 days a week in-office, 3 days remote)
Key Responsibilities
E-Billing & Outside Counsel Management (Approx. 50%)
Platform Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the legal department’s e-billing platform, ensuring system health, accurate data entry, and smooth user access.
Invoice Review & Analysis: Conduct initial reviews and analyses of external law firm invoices to ensure strict compliance with outside counsel billing guidelines.
Data & Financial Analysis: Track and mine legal spend data to identify cost trends, patterns, and financial optimization opportunities.
Vendor Relations: Assist in managing relationships with external service providers and law firms regarding billing inquiries, onboarding, and billing guideline compliance.
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Support - Ironclad (Approx. 50%)
Ironclad System Support: Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and user management for our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, Ironclad.
Workflow Optimization: Build, maintain, and update contract workflows and templates within Ironclad to streamline the intake, negotiation, and execution processes.
Data Governance & Integrity: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security for all contract records within the CLM. Establish data standards and perform regular data cleansing.
Training & Onboarding: Develop training materials and provide hands-on support to internal legal team members and business stakeholders to drive Ironclad adoption.
Contract Metrics: Track and report on key contract performance indicators (KPIs), such as contract negotiation cycle times and contract volume.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Legal Familiarity: Prior professional experience working within a corporate legal department, law firm, or legal operations environment.
An Aptitude for Learning: A strong desire to learn new technologies and adapt to shifting priorities.
Technical Comfort: High proficiency with everyday workplace tools like G-Suite and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly pick up and navigate new software.
Detail & Analytical Focus: Excellent organizational skills with a focus for details, and analyzing data and numbers.
Communication & Teamwork: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a collaborative spirit who enjoys partnering with internal teammates and external vendors.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, paired with 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience working with or administering e-billing systems (Brightflag) and Contract Lifecycle Management (Ironclad).
Experience collaborating on data visualization or dashboard projects.
