Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer with expertise in transforming ServiceMax implementations to Salesforce FSL. The resource will play a critical role in migrating, redesigning, and optimizing field service solutions to align with Salesforce native capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead migration from ServiceMax to Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
Analyze existing ServiceMax configurations and map to FSL data model (Work Orders, Service Appointments, Assets, Service Resources)
Develop and configure FSL features including scheduling policies, dispatcher console, service territories, and optimization
Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows
Design and execute data migration strategy including data cleansing, transformation, and validation
Integrate Salesforce FSL with ERP, inventory, and external systems using APIs
Support mobile workforce enablement using Salesforce FSL Mobile App
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders for solution design
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security, and performance standards
Support UAT, deployment, go-live, and hyper care phases
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of Salesforce development experience
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
Strong knowledge of ServiceMax architecture and data model
Proven experience in ServiceMax to FSL migration/transformation
Expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Flows
Understanding of FSL scheduling, dispatcher console, and optimization
Experience with data migration tools and ETL processes
Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and security model
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good to Have
Experience with Asset 360 or other field service products
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins
Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Certification
FSL Certification
Experience in Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Utilities domain
