THE ROLE
Join our team as a Firmware Engineer and help us innovate the future of data storage. You'll be a key player in designing and developing the firmware for our industry-leading DirectFlash™ SSD Modules. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware, collaborating closely with our hardware and software engineering teams to create high-performance, resilient storage solutions that are foundational to our technology.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design, implement, and test firmware for our DirectFlash™ SSD Modules, leveraging your expertise in C/C++ to build robust, high-performance solutions.
Lead the bring-up and integration of new hardware components, developing low-level firmware features to enable next-generation storage products.
Investigate and debug complex firmware and hardware issues, creating advanced failure analysis tools and processes to ensure product reliability.
Automate internal development workflows, including continuous integration and automated testing, to accelerate our engineering and release cycles.
WHAT YOU BRING
A strong foundation in firmware development for embedded systems, with a deep understanding of hardware and software interactions.
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with scripting languages like Python for testing, automation, and tooling.
Hands-on experience with embedded software or firmware, including microcontrollers and hardware bring-up.
Proven ability to debug complex issues and develop effective tools for failure analysis.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
