Job summary

The Regional Business Development Manager is a senior growth leader responsible for driving incremental revenue within existing clients by identifying and converting high-value opportunities beyond traditional account management. Operating within a bedbank wholesale distribution model, the role focuses on expanding client value through products, destinations, sourcing strategies, and commercial models. Working alongside account teams, it provides strategic insight, challenges existing approaches, and delivers growth initiatives that increase Total Transaction Value (TTV).

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop high-impact growth opportunities within existing clients.

Challenge current strategies and uncover new revenue streams across products, destinations, sourcing, and commercial models.

Lead the end-to-end development of strategic opportunities, from opportunity assessment and business case creation to commercial closure.

Build data-driven proposals that deliver measurable business value.

Partner with C-level client stakeholders to influence strategic decisions and promote long-term growth initiatives.

Collaborate with KAMs and SAMs to strengthen strategic account planning and opportunity pipelines.

Own and deliver a portfolio of strategic growth initiatives rather than day-to-day account management.

Drive incremental revenue, opportunity conversion, and client progression into higher-value segments.

Lead strategic negotiations to secure additional volume, improve commercial terms, and client engagement into new business models and high-value segments.

Skills & Experience

10+ years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or strategic account management.

Proven success in identifying, structuring, and closing complex commercial opportunities.

Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven and analytical approach.

Experience in travel, technology, platforms, or distribution businesses preferred.

Growth-oriented mindset with a strong ability to uncover untapped opportunities within existing clients.

Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions and levels.

Effective negotiator, balancing short-term results with long-term partnership value.
