We’re looking for an ISM Software Architect to design and develop software architectures that support critical rail systems and ensure safe, secure, and reliable mobility.
You’ll work alongside people who take ownership, collaborate across functions, and contribute to systems that keep cities moving every day.
Your role, your impact
Contribute to ISM specifications and architecture with Program Development Managers, Design Authority, and System Engineers
Define software requirements, including functional, operational, interface, performance, safety, and cybersecurity aspects
Ensure requirements are testable and traceable across the development lifecycle
Design software architecture, components, interfaces, and dynamic system behaviour
Validate technical solutions through simulations and prototypes
Lead technical decisions: tools, methodologies (e.g., UML), languages, coding standards
Support integration (software/software and hardware/software) and verification activities
Contribute to system validation, testing, and long-term maintenance
Monitor technology evolution and promote reusable solutions and standardization
Ensure application of internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement
You’ll work with multidisciplinary, international teams across engineering and product development - solving complex challenges in rail security and digital systems.
What you bring
Engineering degree
Strong programming experience in C# .NET
Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, streaming protocols, SIP, VoIP, Public Address, etc.)
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Ability to collaborate with distributed and cross-functional teams
Agile mindset with international orientation
