Staff Product Marketing Manager – Energy Business Unit
The Energy Business Unit is focused on enabling the transition to a more electrified, intelligent, and resilient energy system - spanning energy management, power conversion, energy storage, and emerging grid-edge applications.
The Staff Product Marketing Manager will define and drive product and solution strategy for ADI’s evolving grid business, translating customer and system-level challenges into differentiated solutions and growth opportunities. This role combines market insight, product definition, commercial ownership, and go-to-market leadership, shaping roadmap, positioning, and business outcomes.
The technology space is multi-domain, combining advanced sensing and edge compute hardware with software layers that deliver actionable insights for grid operators. You will own products end-to-end, driving market opportunities from concept through to revenue scale.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Opportunity Definition
Develop a deep understanding of the target application space, including grid monitoring, behind-the-meter assets, DER, and electrification infrastructure, translating market trends and regulatory drivers into actionable opportunities.
Develop clear market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), segmentation, and competitive positioning to guide investment decisions.
Product & Solution Strategy
Define product and system-level requirements based on customer and application needs, shaping roadmap and long-term investment priorities.
Partner with engineering and product teams to drive trade-offs across performance, cost, and time-to-market.
Business Ownership
Build and own business cases, including revenue forecasts, pipeline development, and opportunity tracking.
Identify lighthouse customers and strategic engagements to validate solutions and accelerate adoption.
Customer & Ecosystem Engagement
Engage directly with key customers (OEMs, partners) to validate needs and build long-term relationships that drive design wins.
Act as a domain expert in customer interactions, translating system challenges into product solutions.
Go-to-Market & Positioning
Develop clear value propositions and messaging that translate technical capability into customer value across energy use cases.
Lead product launches, sales enablement, and market engagement activities in collaboration with marketing and field teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work across product lines, applications, software, and sales to align roadmap and execution.
Provide structured market feedback to influence product development and strategy.
Skills and Experience
6+ years’ experience in product marketing, product management, or business development within semiconductors, energy, or industrial systems.
Proven ability to develop product strategy, roadmap, and business cases that drive revenue growth.
Experience engaging with customers and ecosystem partners to identify needs and influence product direction.
Technical background in electrical engineering or related field, with ability to engage on system architecture and trade-offs.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to operate cross-functionally in a global organisation.
Experience with commercialising software products preferred
Understanding of energy markets including electric utilities, grid infrastructure, distributed energy resources (DER), energy storage, and electrification trends preferred.
International travel will be required (15% of time)
