(Junior) Product Manager - Carbon Management (m/f/x)
About the role
Description
As a (Junior) Product Manager, you will work alongside senior product leaders to support the development and continuous improvement of ESG-focused solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams - including engineering, UI/UX, and compliance experts - to ensure our products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
While prior understanding and knowledge of Carbon Management is considered a strong plus (CCF & PCF), we value curiosity, adaptability, and a strong interest in sustainability and digital product development as a foundation. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of product management experience who is ready to grow and take on more responsibility in a fast-evolving domain.
This position is based in Mannheim, Germany. We embrace a hybrid work model with three in-office days per week, offering a mix of face-to-face collaboration and remote flexibility.
Your Responsibilities
Support the development and rollout of solutions focused on Carbon Management aligned with international regulations.
Collaborate with UI/UX, development, and delivery teams to bring product features from concept to release.
Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
Help gather and prioritize customer feedback, market insights, and regulatory updates to inform product decisions.
Participate in product discovery, roadmap planning, and delivery tracking alongside senior product leaders.
Your Experience
2–4 years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, with exposure to both discovery and delivery phases.
Comfortable working closely with software engineers and designers in an agile environment.
Familiarity with Carbon Management regulations is a strong plus.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a user-centered mindset.
Ability to work across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in German and English (C1 level) is required for effective collaboration in our international environment.
