Senior Azure Data Engineer x2

Location: Manchester - hybrid - 1 x a week (minimum)

Salary: Up to £110,000 + 17.5% bonus + Benefits

A leading European investment and asset management business is seeking two Senior Azure Data Engineers to join its newly established Data team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex data platforms within Financial Services and Real Estate.

The Role

You will design and build scalable, resilient data pipelines, transforming raw data into trusted datasets that support analytics, finance, risk and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, PySpark and Spark SQL.

Manage data ingestion across multiple source systems.

Optimise and monitor data pipelines and integrations.

Support data architecture and data standards.

Partner with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Data Engineer building enterprise-scale data pipelines.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Databricks

Python

PySpark

Spark SQL

Experience with data lakes and data warehouses.

Background in Financial Services, Banking, Credit, Real Estate or Asset Management preferred.

Knowledge of financial data domains (transactions, market and reference data) is advantageous.

Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
