Employee Relations Officer

Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679 per annum

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum

36 hours per week

As an Employee Relations Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting managers and staff across NHS Western Isles. You’ll provide expert advice on employee relations matters, helping to foster a fair, supportive, and respectful working environment.

What you’ll do:

Provide professional advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment law

Support managers with casework including attendance, conduct, and performance

Contribute to resolving complex employee relations issues

Promote best practice and organisational values

Support a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion

What we’re looking for:

Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice

Experience handling employee relations casework

Excellent communication and influencing skills

A proactive, compassionate, and solution-focused approach

Postgraduate CIPD qualification
