Quality Assurance Engineer (AQP)

Your Job

We're looking for someone who can help make sure our products meet the high-quality expectations of major Japanese OEMs and tier suppliers-from the early development stages all the way to mass production. In this role, you'll work closely with global Molex teams and our suppliers to build quality into the product. As the person oversees quality through every phase, your contribution will directly support stronger customer satisfaction and reduce quality risks.

What you will do:

1. Lead AQP/APQP Activities

Drive quality planning (APQP) from product development through the launch of mass production

Define quality requirements and integrate them into control plans, PFMEAs, and process design

2. Customer Quality Support (Voice of the Customer)

Serve as the quality liaison for automakers and tier suppliers

Join customer technical and quality reviews, and ensure required specifications are applied internally

3. Quality Assurance for Prototypes & Pre Production

Handle sample quality checks, and preparation of customer submission documents (e.g., PPAP)

Work with global Molex plants and suppliers to analyze root causes and develop countermeasures for defects

Who You Are

Written and verbal English communication skill to facilitate team meeting with global members.

Technological or scientific background

Logical thinking

Japanese: Native level

English: Advanced level

What Will Put You Ahead

Experience as a quality engineer (as an AQP engineer)

Experience of working in automotive industry

Knowledge of automotive electronics components

Quality audit methodology knowledge and experience, e.g. certified auditor.

International assignment / overseas work experience

Experience of working with Japanese OEMs of automotive field
