Senior Accountant

We are looking for a senior accountant who will independently manage all accounting and financial aspects of our entity in France and liaise with the group's entities in Malta to ensure proper reporting.

Nous recherchons un comptable unique senior qui gérera en toute autonomie tous les aspects comptables et financiers de notre entité en France et assurera la liaison avec les entités du groupe à Malte pour assurer un reporting approprié.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Keep accounting up to date to ensure that monthly reporting deadlines set by the group are met

Manage all aspects of accounting work up to tax filing. Support from a certified accountant will be available if needed

Handle tax filings (VAT, ...) on a monthly basis

Oversee and manage bank accounts and prepare cash flow forecasts for internal reporting purposes

Support the group's finance team in all aspects of reporting by providing sufficient and relevant information so they can manage all financial objectives

Liaise with internal/external advisors (accountants, auditors, ...) to ensure compliance with the requirements of the French entity:

o banks to ensure smooth information flow

o local auditors to complete audits

o group to complete the group audit

Missions :

Maintenir à jour la comptabilité afin de garantir le respect des délais de reporting mensuel fixés par le groupe

Gérer tous les aspects du travail comptable jusqu'à la déclaration des taxes. Le soutien dʼun expert-comptable sera possible si nécessaire

Gérer la déclaration des taxes (TVA, …) sur une base mensuelle

Superviser et gérer les comptes bancaires et préparer les prévisions de trésorerie à des fins de reporting interne

Soutenir l'équipe financière du groupe dans tous les aspects du reporting, en lui fournissant des informations suffisantes et adéquates pour qu'elle soit en mesure de gérer tous les objectifs financiers

Assurer la liaison avec les conseils externes (experts-comptables, commissaires aux comptes, ...) pour assurer le respect des exigences légales de l’entité française :

avec les banques pour assurer une bonne circulation des informations

avec les auditeurs locaux pour la réalisation

avec le groupe pour la réalisation de l'audit du groupe

Requirements

Requirements:

Experienced accountant (at least 10 years) in an international environment (English level B2/C1 required) or in an accounting firm

Independent and open-minded person, able to manage their own work

Ability to have an overall view of accounting processes to organize priorities and ensure deadlines are met

Efficient and proactive person

Prérequis :

Comptable expérimenté (au moins 10 ans) dans un environnement international (niveau d'anglais B2/C1 requis) ou dans un cabinet comptable

Personne autonome et ouverte d'esprit, capable de gérer son activité

Capacité à avoir une vue globale des processus comptables afin d'organiser les priorités et de s'assurer du respect des délais
