The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Financial Analyst to join a high-performing finance team on an initial 6-month contract.

You will play a key role in supporting treasury and cash flow activities, while assisting with financial reporting and project works. It is the perfect next step for a junior professional looking to grow their foundational finance skillset.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and monthly financial and operational reporting

Assist with treasury activities including cash management, bank account management

Assist with short and long-term cash flow forecasts

Analyse working capital performance and identify cash flow improvement opportunities

Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems, reporting and processes

Partner with regional finance team to support strategic and day-to-day decision making

Assist with ad hoc projects, reporting requests and business improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline

Commenced or looking to commence CACA/CPA qualified

1-2 years of foundational experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or general accounting environment

Strong intermediate Excel skills and exposure to reporting tools like Power BI is highly regarded

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels

A proactive mindset and team-player mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and commercial outcomes
