What’s the role?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Engineer to support and enhance critical enterprise applications running on IBM z/OS.

Your key responsibilities include:

Design, develop and support mainframe applications.

Perform impact analysis, coding, testing and implementation.

Develop and maintain COBOL, CICS, IMS and DB2 applications.

Support batch processing using JCL and scheduling tools.

Investigate and resolve production incidents and performance issues.

Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver enhancements and regulatory changes.

What do I need?

8+ years of experience in mainframe development.

Strong experience in COBOL development within large-scale enterprise or banking environments.

Hands-on experience with IMS DB and IMS DC, including data access, database structures, and program interfaces.

Good understanding of z/OS mainframe environments.

Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including production support..

Experience working with CICS, JCL, and VSAM within mainframe environments.
