Key responsibilities
Assist Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and/or Speech Therapists in supervising patients and implementing therapy interventions.
Apply prescribed therapeutic modalities for routine patients and perform simple assessments under therapist oversight.
Conduct group therapy sessions for low-complexity patients.
Support training and development of junior Therapy Assistant and students through orientations, supervision assistance, and delivery of selected training modules.
Manage operational and administrative tasks, including:
Reporting daily manpower needs and scheduling
Assisting in duty roster planning
Housekeeping and equipment maintenance
Ensuring inventory standards
Requirements
Education: Diploma or relevant certification in therapy assistance or healthcare support.
Experience: Prior experience in therapy or rehabilitation settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions under supervision.
Organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
