Overview:
Summary
The Manager, Sales Commissions will lead the sales compensation management system and manage the administration of the sales commissions for direct sales, presales and sales support roles.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Leads commission plan administration activities, including plans setup, management of monthly and quarterly commission payment cycles, and ensure timely distribution of reports and processing of commission payments
Manages the C1 sales commissions team
Proactively establishes the metrics to determine efficiency of commission plans and understand opportunities for improving commission plans alignment to business objectives
Partners with IT, commissions vendor and sales to drive improvements in commission processing
Establishes, owns and drives process discipline and governance, in compliance with company policies and the established commission plans
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of commission plans, including but not limited to targets, commission rates, bonuses, commission multipliers
Develops appropriate communication process for the field to provide a comprehensive understanding of how their commission plans work
Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Acts as a thought leader and influencer for the company’s sales commission plans in order to optimize alignment of sales incentives with business priorities

Owns a strong customer service mindset and focus on ensuring commission processes run smoothly and accurately
Keeps an analytical mindset with ability to establish and measure key metrics to determine commission effectiveness
Possesses excellent verbal and written communications capabilities – including presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
Demonstrates ability to work cross-functionally with sales, HR and finance teams, to team up and deliver value
Understands the incentive compensation programs and processes
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5-7 years related experience
Hands on experience with one or more sales incentive compensation management systems (e.g. Xactly)
Experience with supporting sales incentive compensation for a large organization
Experience with BI and reporting tools, e.g. Oracle, Qlikview, and ability to understand and research complex data flows
Experience with CRM systems. Microsoft Dynamics preferred
Proficiency in excel

Pay Range
$120,000 - $140,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
