GenAI Developer Intern

Job Profile

We are seeking a curious and innovative GenAI Developer intern to join our team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-powered applications. You’ll collaborate with engineers and data scientists to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in building and integrating applications using generative AI models (e.g., LLMs)

Design, test, and refine prompts to improve AI outputs and reliability

Develop agents, backend services or APIs that connect AI models to applications

Work with structured and unstructured data for training, fine-tuning, or retrieval (RAG systems)

Evaluate model performance and help implement improvements (accuracy, latency, cost)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, UX)

Document experiments, workflows, and technical implementations

Stay current with advancements in generative AI and machine learning

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related program

Good programming skills in Python (preferred) , JavaScript or other programming languages.

Good understanding of APIs and software development fundamentals

Familiarity with machine learning or NLP concepts

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Good communication and collaboration abilities

Interest in generative AI technologies and their applications

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)

Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and evaluation methods

Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings (MongoDB is preferred)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture

Understanding of ethical AI, bias, and responsible AI practices
