Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS) Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and configuration management tools such as Chef.

Key Responsibilities

Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and microservices architecture.

Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, WAF, IAM, and EBS.

Develop and maintain Chef cookbooks and recipes for middleware installations and server automation.

Collaborate with development teams to design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.

Design backup, disaster recovery (DR), failover architecture, and define RTO/RPO strategies.

Monitor infrastructure performance, server capacity, and AWS cost optimization.

Implement security best practices including IAM roles, access control, and network security.

Perform infrastructure health checks, troubleshooting, and production support.

Automate deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.

Guide team members and provide technical support on DevOps best practices.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

AWS Certified or AWS Trained (Preferred).

Strong experience with AWS Cloud services.

Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Strong knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Kubernetes and Microservices.

Experience with Chef Configuration Management.

Good understanding of API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, and Layer 7 Routing.

Strong Linux administration skills.

Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Backup, and High Availability architecture.

Experience in AWS cost optimization and monitoring.

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
