Role Overview

The Contract Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and service delivery of a prestigious flagship client site located in Dublin City Centre. The role is accountable for ensuring service excellence, strong client relationships, high-performing teams, and the delivery of all contractual, financial, and compliance requirements on site.

The role acts as the on-site leader and primary client liaison, ensuring that operational standards, KPIs, and service level agreements are consistently achieved while maintaining a positive team culture, strong Health & Safety standards, and effective cost control.

The Contract Manager plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction, contract retention, and identifying opportunities for service improvement and business growth within the site.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for the overall service delivery and operational performance of the client site.

Act as the main point of contact for the client and manage the client relationship on a day-to-day basis.

Ensure all contractual KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery standards are achieved and continuously improved.

Lead, manage, and develop the on-site team to ensure high performance, engagement, and retention.

Plan staffing levels, rotas, and cover arrangements to ensure consistent service delivery.

Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and quality checks, ensuring actions are tracked and closed out.

Manage site budgets, including payroll, consumables, and stock control in line with financial targets.

Ensure accurate payroll inputs, timesheets, and overtime control in coordination with Payroll and Finance.

Maintain all site documentation, including risk assessments, RAMS, SDS, work schedules, and site files.

Promote and manage Health & Safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislation.

Report and investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions where required.

Manage on-site stock, equipment, uniforms, and company assets.

Coordinate with internal departments, including HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and Training & Development.

Manage vendor and supplier performance to ensure quality, value for money, and service continuity.

Prepare and submit monthly operational reports to the Strategic Account Manager.

Identify opportunities for additional services or service improvements within the contract.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience within the service industry or contract cleaning environment.

Minimum 5 years' experience managing teams in a service delivery or operational environment.

Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering on KPIs and service level agreements.

Experience managing budgets, payroll, and operational reporting.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work.

Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting systems.

Eligibility to work full-time in Ireland.

The role requires flexibility in working hours to meet operational requirements.

The role will involve regular client interaction and leadership presence on-site.
