Our Customer Service Group Finance team in Dunfermline plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of Sky’s call centres and engineers. With millions of customer interactions each year and thousands of agents across various locations, the team is responsible for balancing efficiency with delivering excellent customer service. Sky is proud of its market-leading customer experience, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve it. In this role, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight that drives performance and ensures cost efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. What you’ll do

Build great business partnering relationships with the management team for your business area, a trusted advisor who can both challenge and support

Delivering best in class analysis, reporting, insight and financial mentorship

Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations for commercial deals, business decisions, and investment appraisals / business cases

Deliver accurate financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic long-range plans

Interpretation of and driving action off the back of monthly results, working with our Controllership team who prepare our management accounts

Managing risks and opportunities for your business area, ensuring numbers are clearly understood

What you’ll bring

Essential criteria:

ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)

Good communication skills through business partnering or client relationship management

Ability to work at pace – we work in an agile, fast-moving environment at Sky

Desirable skills and experience:

Strong analytical skills (Microsoft Excel), experience of preparing analysis, delivering insight and turning into recommendations (often in Microsoft PowerPoint)

Comfortable with ambiguity – being able to provide clarity, and guide decision making

Show keen commercial acumen when presented with complex problems

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.

Dunfermline

Our Sky Dunfermline contact centre is a 5-10 minute walk from Rosyth station with trains running from Edinburgh Waverley to Glenrothes. There are also several bus routes within walking distance.

If driving, we’re located just off the M90, with free onsite parking available. Onsite, you’ll also find bike racks, shower facilities, a subsidised canteen.
