About the role
Position Summary
We are seeking a bilingual Sales Specialist (Japanese–English) to support business development and customer relationship management within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong language skills, whether they are entry-level or have up to 2–3 years of sales experience.
The primary focus of this position is to act as a communication bridge between Japanese-speaking clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth coordination, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for Japanese-speaking customers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Interpret and translate (verbal and written) between Japanese, English, and Spanish as needed.
Support the sales cycle, including:
RFQs (Requests for Quotation)
Order management
Follow-ups with clients
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while supporting new business opportunities.
Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, quality, engineering) to meet customer requirements.
Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction.
Prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence in Japanese and English.
Assist in business meetings, visits, and audits with Japanese clients.
Support commercial negotiations and problem resolution.
Qualifications
Language Requirements (Mandatory)
Advanced to fluent Japanese (business level – JLPT N2 or above preferred)
Advanced English proficiency
Spanish proficiency is highly desirable (working level or above)
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, International Relations, Engineering, or related field)
Equivalent experience may be considered

Familiarity with manufacturing processes or supply chain concepts
