POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Accountant role will focus on delivering high-quality accounting support in areas including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Statutory reporting
Preparation of local GAAP financial statements including roll forward schedules
Preparation of disclosures including PPE, Commitments, accruals, prepayments and other notes to financial statements
Audit Support:
Prepare audit schedules for external and internal audits
Support audit requests and ensure appropriate documentation is received by auditors
Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts including equity accounts.
Investigate reconciling items and coordinate timely resolution.
Maintain adherence to internal control standards (SOX) and PVH corporate policies.
Other activities:
CBS statistical information preparation
Oversight on VAT compliance/ plastic tax
Support income tax preparations
Support on quarter, month and year end work as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct: n/a
Indirect: Assist in the review of journal entries, reconciliations, and other deliverables prepared by junior accountants or analysts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
DECISION MAKING:
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data independently, escalating complex or high-impact issues appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
3 to 5 Yrs years of relevant accounting experience excluding Articleship. (statutory accounts preparation a plus)
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
CA is mandate
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Proficient in accounting systems and financial software such as SAP, Power BI, CoStar, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
