About the role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer is required to provide hands-on support for network, server, and end-user environments, including onsite operational support.
Contractor Role - Initial 24 months plus potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote support for IT infrastructure
Manage servers, networks, and system environments
Monitor system health and performance
Troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues
Support implementation of infrastructure upgrades and changes
Ensure security and patching compliance
Support end-user and business operational systems
Participate in incident response and resolution
Technical Skills
Windows Server administration
Networking (LAN/WAN, switching, firewalls)
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
Microsoft 365 / Azure environments (desirable)
Strong troubleshooting capability
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills (user-facing role)
Ability to work onsite as required
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Pay: €290.00-€340.00 per day
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dublin, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work authorisation:
Ireland (required)
Work Location: In person

This Support Engineer role pays $75k-$88k/yr. Within typical range for support engineer roles in Ireland.
