The Role

We are on the lookout for a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Charles Tyrwhitt ensuring delivery of a scalable, user-led solution that becomes the single source of truth for product data and processes across Buying, Design, Merchandising, Technical and Supply Chain.

This role will oversee delivery from initial discovery through to go-live and post-launch stabilisation, driving both technology implementation and business transformation in how product is created, managed and delivered to market.

What You Will Be Doing

Programme Ownership & Delivery

Own end-to-end delivery of the PLM implementation including scope, timeline, budget, governance and reporting.

Establish and maintain a clear project plan covering all phases (discovery, design, build, test, go-live, post go-live support)

Lead governance forums, steering committees and stakeholder decision-making.

Business Process Transformation (Product Lifecycle)

Map current (“as is”) product development workflows and design future (“to be”) processes within PLM across:

Product creation and range planning

Tech packs and BOMs

Sampling and approvals

Costing and critical path management

Supplier collaboration

Ensure PLM reflects how product teams actually work, improving efficiency and reducing manual processes.

Phase 2: Link with Third Party and Web teams to roll out Third Party Range Plans, DAM and PIM.

Vendor & Technology Delivery

Act as the primary interface with the PLM vendor (Bombiix) and implementation partners.

Lead requirements definition workshops and solution configuration.

Oversee system configuration, testing, and deployment.

Coordinate integrations where required (e.g. ERP, product database, planning tools).

Data, Migration & Governance

Define the product data model and standards required for PLM success.

Lead data cleansing, migration, and cutover planning.

Establish long-term data ownership and governance processes.

DPP & Regulatory Readiness

Ensure PLM implementation supports capture of product data required for Digital Product Passport and traceability initiatives (e.g. Textile EPR)

Change Management & Adoption

Develop and deliver a structured change and communications plan across all product teams.

Build a network of “super-users” to champion adoption across functions.

Lead training strategy and rollout aligned to go-live and business calendar.

Liaise with other relevant internal teams

Manage onboarding of suppliers into PLM workflows and processes.

Testing, Go-Live & Stabilisation

Manage end-to-end testing with real product scenarios.

Oversee go-live planning, execution and post-go-live support

Ensure minimal disruption to trading and product lifecycle timelines.

Key Deliverables

End-to-end project plan and governance structure

Business process maps (current and future state)

Configured PLM system aligned to business requirements

Data migration and cutover plan

Training and adoption plan

Successful go-live and stabilisation

Who We Are

Once upon a shirt, Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler (whilst studying Geography at Bristol University – we might add) had the notion that he could make a better shirt at better value than anyone else in the world! He believed that all men; no matter their shape or size, where they may be in the world or indeed their budget; should be able to own a Jermyn Street quality shirt. A proper shirt. A CT shirt. That was over 3 decades ago and whilst Charles Tyrwhitt (it rhymes with spirit by the way) is still famous for proper shirts, these days we are about so much more than collars and cuffs. Our purpose is to “make it easy for men to dress well”. We take care of a chap’s entire wardrobe, providing stylish solutions for every occasion. We make sure he gets what he wants, when and how he wants it.

‘I am Proud and Free to be me!’

When it comes to our people, we really do “Give a shirt”.

Tyrwhitteers (our people) are a diverse, passionate and entrepreneurial bunch. We enjoy a fun, engaging and rewarding culture, where everyone is empowered by our 3 BE-liefs which are; “BE the BOSS”, “BE the CUSTOMER” and “BE the BEST”.
