About the Role
This role is responsible for leading the day‑to‑day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective production. It’s a hands‑on role for a leader who thrives on teamwork, continuous improvement, and quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Run the day‑to‑day operations of the factory, including people, materials, and equipment
Make sure products are built safely, on time, and to the right quality standards
Keep production on track so customer delivery timeframes are met
Lead and support the production team with clear direction and daily toolbox talks
Create and maintain a safe, tidy, and well‑organised workplace
Drive improvements in how we work, including 5S and Lean practices
Monitor performance and help the team hit targets across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
Ensure production paperwork is completed correctly and followed on the floor
Organise freight bookings and coordinate deliveries to customers
Support purchasing activities and keep stock levels under control, including monthly stocktakes
Make sure machines, tools, and vehicles are well maintained and compliant
Provide hands‑on technical support and guidance to factory staff
Lock up and secure the factory, machinery, and vehicles at the end of each day
Work closely with senior leaders and other business units to support company goals
What you’ll Bring:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing role
Experience in manufacturing or construction environment (preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Well organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and schedules
Physically capable of manual handling when required
Competent in MS Office
Team‑focused and safety‑driven
