About the role
We are Seeking a SQL Database Developer to support the development, optimisation, and maintenance of database-driven applications within an enterprise environment.
Contractor Role - Initial 24 months plus potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
Support application development teams with database integration
Perform performance tuning and query optimisation
Assist in data migration, transformation, and ETL activities
Maintain data quality, integrity, and security standards
Troubleshoot database issues and provide resolutions
Contribute to database design and schema enhancements
Technical Skills
Strong T-SQL / SQL Server experience
Query optimisation and performance tuning
Experience with ETL tools (SSIS or equivalent)
Exposure to Azure data services (desirable)
Understanding of indexing, execution plans, and data structures
Soft Skills
Analytical mindset
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Pay: €400.00-€450.00 per day

This Software Engineer role pays $104k-$117k/yr. Within typical range for software engineer roles in Ireland.
