Founders Track – Builder in Residence

About the Role

This is a talent track for people who'd rather build than talk about building. If you're someone who makes things - whether you're an engineer, designer, operator, or a founder looking for your next chapter - this is designed for you. It's a fast, straightforward process: if it's a fit, you'll be introduced to a relevant role at the team running this program or at one of their partner startups.

Two Paths

This track is open to builders of all kinds: engineers, designers, ops people, and early-career folks with side projects that actually shipped.

Path 1 – Future Founders: You'll probably start something one day, just not yet. Right now you want to see how a good startup operates from the inside - ship with a fast team, touch different parts of the business, and be in the room when decisions get made.

Path 2 – Ready to Focus: You've been the CEO, CTO, or the person who kept the whole thing running. You've built teams, raised money, and made it work. Now you want to go deep on one thing with people who are excellent at what they do.

What We're Looking For

Proven track record of shipping real products, features, apps, or communities with measurable user impact

Hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React for full-stack development

Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)

Ability to work across functions - product, go-to-market, engineering, and operations

Comfort making decisions under uncertainty without waiting for permission

Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability

Ability to work across time zones (remote, Berlin, or San Francisco); occasional travel may be needed

Portfolio or examples of shipped work required - no cover letter needed

About the Company

This is a pre-seed-stage AI startup operating in the talent and recruitment technology space. The team connects candidates directly with venture-backed startups, replacing traditional job applications with direct introductions powered by AI. The company works with a network of hundreds of venture-backed startups and is building a personalized, AI-driven headhunting experience.

Location & Work Arrangement

Primary location is Los Angeles, CA, with additional presence in San Francisco and Berlin. Remote-friendly across time zones. Visa sponsorship is available.
