Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai
Position Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Fit-Out Project Manager to support the execution of premium residential interior projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in interior fit-out execution, site coordination, quality control, contractor management, and project planning. The role requires ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per D'LIFE's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in executing premium residential interior fit-out projects.
Coordinate daily site activities and supervise contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other vendors.
Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of milestones.
Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
Coordinate with design, production, logistics, procurement, and installation teams.
Track material requirements and ensure timely availability at the site.
Resolve day-to-day site issues and escalate critical concerns to the Project Manager.
Attend client meetings and provide regular project progress updates.
Verify contractor bills, material consumption, and site documentation.
Maintain daily progress reports and project records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in residential interior fit-out or premium home interior projects.
Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobes, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and finishing works is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
Good communication, coordination, and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Willingness to travel across project sites in and around Chennai.
