Job Description

Senior ServiceNow Developer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform to automate enterprise workflows and improve service delivery. The role combines hands-on development expertise, translating business requirements into secure, high-quality implementations while ensuring platform stability, performance, and maintainability

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and other modules

Build and enhance custom applications, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow platform capabilities

Configure and develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer

Implement and maintain integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server)

Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions

Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications

Support platform upgrades, patching, and new feature adoption

Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with platform standards and best practices

Assist in implementing automation solutions and improving operational efficiency

Contribute to AI/automation use cases (e.g., Virtual Agent, Flow Designer, AI-powered workflows)

Maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer for developed solutions

Provide ongoing support, incident fixes, and root cause analysis for platform issues

Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and development best practices

Education

4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

8 or more years of experience (Preferred)
