About us

Sella Investment Banking (IB) is the division of Gruppo Sella dedicated to corporate finance. We support clients and the Group across a broad range of transactions, including M&A advisory, capital raising (private equity and IPOs), corporate bond issuances, debt structuring and leveraged finance

We are looking for an Intern to join our team in Milan. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on live transactions alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you will do

You will support the team across the execution of corporate finance transactions, working closely with an Associate and the broader deal team.

In particular, you will:

Contribute to the execution of transactions within your team, with a focus on M&A, leveraged finance or private debt depending on your assignment

Carry out industry and company research, supporting investment and strategic analyses

Perform financial analyses, including financial statement review, valuation and financial modeling

Support the preparation of financial models, presentations and transaction materials (pitchbooks, information memoranda, internal documentation)

Contribute to the assessment of risk-return profiles of potential transactions, including those involving the Sella Group

Assist in internal approval processes and gain exposure to relevant committees

What we are looking for

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from a top-tier university

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)

Proficiency in English; international study or work experience is a plus

Nice to have

Background in accounting, finance or tax

Understanding of banking, financial regulation, capital structures and market valuations

Previous experience or academic exposure to M&A, leveraged finance or transaction services

What you can expect

We offer a six-month paid internship (800€).

The place of work will be S32 - Copernico Isola in Milan.
