Role Highlights:

Designs and implements CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.

Advises on infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices.

Supports containerization and orchestration.

Integrates security and compliance into DevOps workflows.

Facilitates collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key Skills and Experience:

Strong experience designing, building, or improving CI/CD pipelines for secure application delivery.

Experience supporting multiple application types, including:

o Legacy applications

o Modern web applications

o API based services

Understanding of release strategies suitable for legacy systems, alongside modern workloads.

Experience promoting DevOps ways of working in teams with mixed maturity.

Practical experience working with Azure in secure production settings, including:

o Azure App Services

o Azure IaaS / VM hosted workloads

o Azure storage and database services

Understanding of hybrid environments spanning on prem and Azure.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management and introducing automation incrementally into legacy or mixed estates.

Experience ensuring that changes are operationally sound, including:

o Deployment rollback strategies

o Configuration consistency

o Environment parity

Ability to work with SREs and support teams to ensure pipelines and tooling support reliable operations.

Understanding of monitoring and logging requirements from a security and operational perspective.
