Overview:

PFH Technology Group is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team onsite in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The successful candidate will provide L1 and L2 IT support, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and system issues while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L1 and L2 support for desktop, hardware, software, and Microsoft Windows environments.

Prioritise and manage helpdesk tickets in line with service delivery procedures.

Administer user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.

Troubleshoot Windows accounts, mailboxes, and application issues.

Install, configure, and support PCs, peripherals, operating systems, and applications.

Manage shared folders, security permissions, PST requests, and data requests.

Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware, software, and print device support.

Provide guidance on ICT policies, data security, and end-user requests.

Collaborate with local and national infrastructure teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.

Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Follow established Service Desk processes, procedures, and escalation paths.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support environment.

Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Windows environments.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.

Third-level qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline is desirable.
