Senior Python Developer

Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Experience: 5+ Years

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, distributed systems, concurrency, and backend technologies. Experience with AI/ML, Computer Vision, and high-performance applications will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development

Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms

Experience with Multithreading and Multiprocessing

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis

Proficiency in NumPy, Pandas, and OpenCV

Strong Linux development experience

Experience with RabbitMQ or Redis Pub/Sub architecture

Hands-on experience with FastAPI

Exposure to AI/ML or Computer Vision projects

Experience integrating C++ modules with Python is a plus

Experience working with NVIDIA Jetson platforms is preferred

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Python applications

Optimize algorithms and data processing workflows

Develop distributed systems using Pub/Sub architecture

Collaborate with AI/ML and Computer Vision teams to improve application performance

Build solutions for Edge and Cloud deployments

Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications

Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience building scalable backend applications

Excellent debugging and performance optimization abilities

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Good communication and collaboration skills
