DATA SCIENTIST

TXT InfraWise, a company within the TXT Group, is seeking a Data Scientist, to be hired either as a Data Scientist Professional or a Data Scientist Expert.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Scientist Professional

Explore and analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

Develop statistical, predictive, classification, and regression models.

Define and implement KPIs and business metrics to monitor performance and measure the impact of analytical activities.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.

Support experimentation and validation activities through A/B testing and effectiveness analysis.

Ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of the data used in analyses.

Additional Responsibilities for Data Scientist Expert

Define KPIs and business metrics to monitor performance and assess analytical outcomes.

Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.

Ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of data used in analytical solutions developed by teams of data scientists.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to data science teams.

Essential Technical RequirementsData Scientist Professional

Excellent knowledge of Python.

Strong background in statistics and probability.

Experience in data manipulation and querying using SQL and NoSQL databases.

Knowledge of core Machine Learning techniques applied to business use cases.

Strong data visualization, storytelling, and data interpretation skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in agile and multidisciplinary environments.

Additional Technical Requirements for Data Scientist Expert

Experience working with data extracted from heterogeneous data models, including SQL, NoSQL, time-series, graph, key-value, and other database technologies.

Proven expertise in data visualization, storytelling, and data interpretation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience leading teams in agile and multidisciplinary environments.

Preferred Qualifications (for both Professional and Expert roles)

Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

Familiarity with cloud environments and collaborative notebook platforms.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM field, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.

Professional Level

3–5 years of experience in a Data Scientist role or similar positions.

Expert Level

More than 6 years of experience in a Data Scientist role or similar positions.

Compensation and Employment Terms

This position offers a permanent employment contract.

Data Scientist Professional: annual gross salary ranging from €44,000 to €50,000.

Data Scientist Expert: annual gross salary ranging from €51,000 to €60,000.

Compensation and job level will be determined based on the candidate’s actual experience and seniority.

Employment will be regulated under the Italian Metalworking Industry Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
