OVERVIEW
Manufacturing Engineering Manager role within a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment, responsible for leading engineering activities across New Product Introduction (NPI), automation, facilities, and production support.
The role focuses on driving manufacturing excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Manufacturing Engineering support for NPI from design to full production ramp-up.
Drive DFM/DFT, PFMEA, process validation, and production handover activities.
Develop and implement automation and continuous improvement strategies.
Support facilities expansion, layout optimisation, and infrastructure projects.
Provide technical leadership for production issues and escalations.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
7–10+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing.
3–5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in NPI, automation, process development, and production support.
Experience with capital projects and continuous improvement.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
