British American Tobacco México has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Intern in Monterrey

This internship provides hands-on experience in finance, supporting financial processes, data analysis, and reporting within a global business environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports

Assisting with data analysis to generate insights for business decision-making

Contributing to month-end closing activities and account reconciliations

Collaborating with international teams on financial processes and reporting

Developing and maintaining dashboards to monitor financial performance

Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data and deliverables

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency

Supporting ongoing projects that add value to the finance function

What are we looking for?

Strong interest in finance, data analysis, and business operations

Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Good communication skills in English and Spanish

Basic knowledge of financial concepts and accounting principles

Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative
