About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver cum Boarding Officer to join our operations team. You will play a hands-on, critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to vessels, coordinating across teams and managing on-ground logistics at the port.
What You'll Do
Report to the Operations Manager daily to review assigned delivery schedules and cases
Board vessels to verify that goods delivered match customer specifications, checked against the Delivery Order (D/O)
Account for goods transported via trucks and boats using the W6 form, ensuring full traceability to the final vessel destination
Drive delivery vehicles when schedules and your licensing permit
Supervise workers and subcontractors during loading and unloading on supply boats and vessels, maintaining proper goods-handling standards at all times
Ensure quality of goods is not compromised during transfers (truck to supply boat, truck to vessel, or supply boat to vessel)
Attend to and resolve issues raised by the vessel's Master or Officers, coordinating with operations, warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams via instant messaging (e.g. WhatsApp)
Verify that product certificates have been received by the vessel's Master or Officers, and follow up with purchasers on any discrepancies
Who We're Looking For
Valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License - this is a mandatory requirement for all applicants
Comfortable working in port environments and boarding vessels
Strong attention to detail and a reliable, responsible attitude
Good communication skills - able to coordinate confidently with vessel crew and internal teams
Able to work independently and stay calm under time-sensitive situations
Prior experience in logistics, port operations, or the marine industry is an advantage, but not required - we provide on-the-job training
All shortlisted candidates will be required to produce valid work authorization documents prior to onboarding.
Work Arrangement
Full-time position based in the Pioneer West Region
Operational hours aligned with vessel delivery schedules (flexibility required)
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,800.00 per month
