Job Description

The candidate will oversee the operations of the Student Hostel, ensuring the effective delivery of front office services and facilities management functions.

Provide strategic input, analysis, and planning to enhance work processes, facilities maintenance, and on-site customer service.

Lead and manage the overall front office operations to ensure efficient, responsive, and high-quality service delivery.

Oversee facilities management activities, ensuring all assets and infrastructure are well-maintained, operationally efficient, and periodically renewed.

Ensure that all operations are aligned with the needs of students and the university, delivering a positive residential experience.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service standards.

Champion environmental sustainability practices across all aspects of hostel operations and facilities management.

Qualifications

A Degree in Building/Estate Management or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, along with strong organisational skills, financial management skills, and business acumen. Candidates with a Diploma and more than 5 years of related working experience will also be considered.

Experience in managing student hostels or residential properties will be an added advantage.

Strong management and leadership skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

A good team player who is passionate, proactive, meticulous, and responsible, with a willingness to learn.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
