Om onze AI- en dataproducten verder te laten groeien, zoeken wij een Senior Business Analyst (AI & Data) die een sleutelrol speelt tussen business, productmanagement, inhoudelijke experts en ontwikkelteams.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Senior Business Analyst ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen van complexe bedrijfsprocessen en gebruikersbehoeften naar concrete oplossingen. Je zorgt ervoor dat ideeën en businessdoelstellingen worden omgezet in duidelijke requirements die ontwikkelteams direct kunnen realiseren.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

Analyseren en vertalen van businessbehoeften naar functionele requirements en user stories.

Modelleren en optimaliseren van processen, workflows en datastromen.

Uitwerken van functionele ontwerpen voor nieuwe AI- en datafunctionaliteiten.

Analyseren van gebruikersgedrag, productdata en KPI’s om productbeslissingen te ondersteunen.

Faciliteren van workshops en afstemming tussen stakeholders, fiscalisten, productmanagers en development teams.

Signaleren van risico’s, afhankelijkheden en verbeterkansen binnen het productlandschap.

Ondersteunen van test- en acceptatietrajecten om kwaliteit te waarborgen.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent analytisch sterk, communiceert moeiteloos met verschillende stakeholders en voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar technologie, data en business samenkomen.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als Business Analyst, Data Analyst of vergelijkbare rol

Ervaring binnen software-, SaaS-, fintech-, legal tech- of andere datagedreven organisaties

Ervaring met Agile/Scrum-methodieken

Kennis van procesmodellering, requirements management en functionele analyse

Affiniteit met AI, data en moderne softwareontwikkeling

Ervaring met tools zoals Power BI, SQL of vergelijkbare analyse- en rapportageoplossingen

Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en ervaring met stakeholdermanagement

Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk

About the Role

As Business Analyst within our Nextens Risk business, you will play a key role in shaping AI-driven products by translating complex business needs into clear, structured deliverables. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless alignment between business requirements and technical execution, driving high-quality outcomes for innovative data-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate complex business requirements into high-quality user stories, functional specifications, and system flowcharts for AI models and agentic workflows

Act as the primary conduit between specialized content teams, internal IT, and external development partners

Design detailed process flows, UML models, and data conversion strategies for structured and unstructured data

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, managing expectations and identifying risks proactively

Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to maintain automated testing and product accuracy

Facilitate workshops and sessions to align cross-functional teams including UX, engineering, and domain experts

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex, data-heavy SaaS platforms, fintech, or legal tech environments.

Deep experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.

Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, structured documentation.

Solid understanding of software architecture, API integrations, and data flows.

Proficiency in UML modeling and process design.

Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with experience aligning multidisciplinary teams.

Relevant degree or equivalent experience; Business Analysis certification (e.g., ISEB or similar).

Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: NLD Amsterdam (Radarweg) €71,700 - €119,600.
