We have an opportunity for a Data Analytics Intern to join our Insights team. The analytics team are core to generating value from our data, from sourcing; analysing it and building tools to automate certain processes within the company. The role will require key analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
The key responsibilities within the role include:
Applying data mining techniques using state-of-the-art methods, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems
Merging external data with preexisting data to generate insight
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
Provision of timely Management Information across the Business
Support on cross functional projects as required
Educate the business on tools and techniques used
The successful candidate will possess the following:
The ideal candidate will be highly numeric and analytical with excellent understanding of machine learning techniques;
statistical analysis, algorithms and common data science toolkits
Great communication skills including experience with data visualisation tools
A strong systems orientation including PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills
The ideal candidate should have a data-oriented personality, have a positive curiosity, be a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making

Musgrave operate a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the business and working remotely. Occasional business travel to other locations will also be required.
