Business Developer

Role Overview

The contractor is responsible for supporting the programme across both retail and non-retail domains. The role focuses on data mapping, SQL development, and testing of required attributes and functionalities to ensure accurate implementation of credit risk and default definitions.

In parallel, the contractor will also support the FBS decommissioning initiative, ensuring timely execution in line with agreed project timelines. Additionally, ongoing changes from upstream data source teams will require continuous adaptation of mappings, logic, and test cases.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end data mapping for retail and non-retail requirements

Develop and maintain SQL logic for attribute creation, transformation, and validation

Design and execute test cases to validate data quality, completeness, and business logic

Adapt mappings and logic based on changes in upstream data sources and products

Operate independently and manage deliverables autonomously

Contribute to the successful delivery of the retail project within agreed timelines.

Enable the progression and initiation of non-retail scope through completed mappings and testing frameworks.

Support timely progress of FBS decommissioning activities.

Ensure all mappings, SQL logic, and test cases are delivered with high accuracy and traceability.

Completion Criteria

The assignment is considered complete when the DOD retail project has been fully delivered and signed off, including validated mappings, SQL logic, and test outcomes.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Strong experience with credit data products and credit risk datasets

Solid understanding of Definition of Default (DOD) concepts

Familiarity with One Joint Obligor (OJO) frameworks

Advanced SQL development and data analysis skills

Experience in data mapping, testing, and validation in complex data environments

Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end technical deliverables
