Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, building strong relationships across the business, and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring our financial data is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business and play a key role in month-end processes, reporting, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger

Supporting month-end and year-end close processes (journals, accruals, reconciliations)

Monitoring equipment sales, rentals and trade-ins

Assisting with stocktakes and inventory reconciliations (including parts and attachments)

Working with internal teams to ensure financial data is complete and accurate

Supporting audit requirements with schedules and documentation

Assisting with cost analysis across operations and service divisions

Contributing to cashflow reporting and forecasting

Supporting financial projects and ad hoc reporting

Identifying process improvements and efficiencies

What We’re Looking For

CA/CPA qualified or working towards

Around 2–3 years’ experience in a Accountant or similar role

Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities

Great communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Experience using multiple systems and multiple legal entities
