Senior Business Consultant of Enterprise Client & Information Delivery (EC&ID) for customer segment with P&C Canada, P&C US, Wealth, Commercial and Capital Markets – support the establishment of an operational enterprise customer information (ECIF) as well as Information Delivery Platform (IDP) as across BMO Financial group that allows for an integrated enterprise customer experience across channels and LOBs including:

Consistent Customer data collection across channels and (i.e. name, address, household, connections, channel preferences/permissions)

Direct linkages of product systems to CIF platform as the front end platform to launch into product set up

Daily Customer information delivered to analytical data marts for use by businesses for insights, analytics and reporting

Support the establishment of Party Model logic & governance:

Consistent Customer data collection across channels (i.e. name, address, household, connections, channel preferences/permissions etc)

Facilitate data clean-up and customer matching: matching customers across all lines of businesses

Facilitate the development of an integrated view of the data requirements for the Customer domain in partnership with Data Owners and Data Stakeholders:

Define enterprise standards for data quality with Chief Data Governance Program office and Data Risk Directive

Determine key performance indicators and data quality metrics

Review data quality reports with Data Owners and Data Stakeholders to understand root cause of quality deficiencies and formulate appropriate remediation plans with Data Owners and Technology

Consult and make recommendations and support the development of the ECIF and IDP roadmaps

Participates in the development of strategic and tactical Data Governance and CIF plans to help inform future project work of the direction of the business

Support the delivery of Customer Information & IDP initiatives that require technology solutions

Collaborates and with stakeholders, including senior management, to define business objectives, process and requirements

Ensure recommendations are business and technically correct and the long range operations of initiatives are effective and efficient

Determines the best approach for eliciting, analyzing, validating, and prioritizing requirements to ensure that the necessary information is captured from the relevant stakeholders to address the business needs

Directs and coordinates requirements project staff and activities to ensure the appropriate level of coordination of work and resources

Ensures all necessary stakeholders are engaged in communications between the Information Technology (IT) project team and the business to help identify who should be involved in the identification and development of the requirements

Provides coaching, professional guidance, and support to Business Analysts, as required, in order to foster professional development

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

. 7-10+ years of related experience and education

. Demonstrates solid business knowledge of the Finance/Banking industry

Comprehensive practical and theoretical knowledge in the areas of Customer Information sufficient to be considered the internal subject matter expert in this area

Influential skills sufficient to resolve situations where others need to be convinced of the value of preferred options or alternatives

. Experience in large data management and environments

. Experience leading and managing small teams

Well-developed presentation / analytical skills sufficient to:

Provide detailed explanation and interpretation of factual and conceptual information and ideas

Creatively and precisely articulate ideas that involve interpretation, analysis and assessment

Developed management skills sufficient to lead / motivate and be able to function within a matrix management environment involving specialists with skills, knowledge and orientation different from their own

Project planning and management skills sufficient to establish, prioritize and coordinate objectives for a variety of non-routine assignments or projects

Salary :

$94,600.00 - $176,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
