Collins Aerospace has an immediate opening for an HR Employee Partner, supporting our employees and leaders in Winston Salem, NC and serving as the business liaison to the local Union at this facility. This position plays a key role in maintaining positive employee relations, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). What You Will Do:
Strategically manage and administer CBA in all aspects working with the team, including managing effective working relationship with Union leadership, supporting labor contract negotiations, and administering grievance procedures
Build and maintain productive relationships with union leadership, employees, and business leaders.
Manage investigations and dispute resolution activities.
Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace practices.
Partner with leaders to proactively identify and address workforce concerns, engagement risks, and organizational health issues.
Serve as a trusted advisor and problem solver for complex employee and labor relations matters involving both represented and non-represented employees.
Support the Collins People Strategy by driving positive employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and a culture of accountability and respect.
What You Will Learn:
You will learn how to successfully navigate a highly matrixed organization as you collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, and the Employee and Labor Relations COE
You will gain experience in a complex and dynamic labor environment, both at the strategic and tactical level
Labor is an ever growing and highly specialized field of practice, you will further develop your skills as a subject matter expert
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position
Experience working with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA), labor relations, or employee relations matters.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Prior labor relations, contract administration, union relations, or labor practitioner experience, including grievance administration and labor agreement interpretation.
Experience investigating and resolving employee relations, workplace conduct, and conflict resolution matters.
Experience coaching, consulting, and influencing leaders at multiple organizational levels.
Experience developing and effectively leveraging relationships in a matrixed environment while navigating complex and sensitive workplace situations with sound judgment and professionalism.
Experience working with data and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel.
Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Compensation
This HR & Recruiting role pays $87k-$165k/yr. Within typical range for hr & recruiting roles in United States.
