Summary:

UST is looking for hands-on QA Automation Engineer / SDET with strong experience in Playwright (Python) to automate UI and API testing, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and validate AI/GenAI-enabled applications. The role includes scripting, test framework development, and building POCs to address GenAI testing challenges.

The Opportunity:

Develop and maintain Playwright automation using Python for web applications

Automate UI and API test scenarios; implement scalable test frameworks

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Configure pipeline-based test execution, reporting, and failure diagnostics

Test AI/GenAI features (chatbots, copilots, RAG workflows) for correctness, safety, and regression

Build prompt regression and AI validation test suites

Develop scripts, utilities, and POCs to improve test reliability and AI test coverage

What you need:

Required Skills:

Playwright (Python) automation experience

Strong Python scripting skills

CI/CD pipeline integration and execution experience

UI and API testing experience

Understanding of QA automation best practices and Agile delivery

Desired Skills:

Experience testing LLM / GenAI applications

Familiarity with Claude/Azure OpenAI / OpenAI APIs

Knowledge of prompt injection, hallucination risks, and AI regression testing

API automation, basic cloud or container exposure

Qualification:

Bachelors’ Degree
