Summary:

As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current infrastructure and solutions to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various stakeholders to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress to achieve seamless cloud adoption and support next-generation business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Lead the development and implementation of migration strategies that align with organizational objectives.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance.

Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery of migration phases.

Support junior team members by providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Nutanix Administration.

Experience with cloud infrastructure management and virtualization technologies.

Strong understanding of storage solutions and data migration techniques.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance and reliability.

Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline migration processes.

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud migration and infrastructure management.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Nutanix Administration.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
