Job Description
Reporting to the Head, EMBA Programme Management, the incumbent will serve as a Programme Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the EMBA programme. He/She will be paired with and assist existing team members to manage the upcoming cohort and contribute to the smooth execution of programme operations.
Class and participant management:
Assist in the establishment of class committee and constitution
Act as a Key Liaison in addressing general queries from students and ensure their programme experiences
Support the promotion and delivery of student events
Ensure students’ compliance to the University/School requirements which include conducting briefings to keep students updated with new policy/requirements
Support students’ participation of major programme events, such as orientation, commencement, etc.
Segment management:
Provide assistance in the following areas for the successful delivery of both local and overseas segments
students’ module registration which includes any changes and/or cancellation
delivery of teaching materials
logistic arrangements such as collection of dietary needs, issuance of seasonal parking coupons, transportation, facility support, etc.
on-site teaching support such as students’ groupings, facilitation of zoom sessions, etc.
financial approval for vendor engagement
academic assistance to students such as following up on submission of assignments, account testing, etc.
travel assistance to instructors including hotel/flight bookings, visa applications, etc.
Work with colleagues to materialize the experiential learning contents such as corporate visits, alumni sharing, etc. during local and overseas segments
Qualifications
At least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
Ability to work independently, proactively in a cross-cultural environment and to multi-task efficiently.
Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required, as the role involves frequent liaison with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Familiarity with Chinese cultural context will be an advantage in supporting effective stakeholder engagement.
Good presentation, interpersonal and project management skills
Able to adopt flexible work hours, including weekends and Public Holidays
IT Savvy. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, etc.) and online meeting applications (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc). Comfortable of adopting AI tools. Good knowledge of mobile and social media applications (WeChat, TikTok, etc.)
Working experience in an education industry is preferred.
