Sales Manager (Travel Trade)
About the role
Responsibilities
Represent the hotel professionally by upholding proper grooming standards
Present the hotels’ products and services effectively
Generate new sales leads and maintain relationships with clients through sales calls and regular site inspection
Assist to update sales control procedures and promotional activities
Present Account Portfolio quarterly and analyse the performance of each account
Manage corporate meetings, banquet events, residential and non-residential meeting groups or travel trade accounts
Provide management with timely Sales and Marketing strategic information
Secure new accounts and achieve monthly sales targets assigned
Provide suggestions to re-secure loss of existing accounts
Follow up with clients whose payments are outstanding and overdue
Requirements
Diploma in Sales and Marketing
At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and organisational skills
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
