Senior FW Engineer

Senior FW Engineer:

We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to contribute to the design and development of electronic systems for Defence applications, with a particular focus on firmware development, FPGA design, and digital signal processing.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and development of electronic systems for Defence applications.

Development, integration, and verification of firmware solutions on FPGA platforms.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to define, implement, and validate technical solutions.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:

Electronic Engineering

Computer Engineering

Telecommunications Engineering

Essential Technical Skills:

Knowledge of DO-254 standards.

Experience in software development using C/C++.

Knowledge of Tcl, Python, and Shell scripting.

Experience in RTL design and verification.

HDL coding experience.

Experience with pre- and post-synthesis simulations.

Knowledge of Static Timing Analysis (STA) methodologies.

Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.

Knowledge of System Generator, DSP Builder, and HDL Coder.

Experience with Xilinx and Intel FPGA technologies.

Proficiency with Vivado and Quartus development environments.

Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for radar applications.

Understanding of analog and digital communication systems.

The compensation package for this position ranges from EUR 32,000 to EUR 37,000 gross per year.

The employment level and compensation will be defined during the selection process, based on the candidate’s experience and profile, in accordance with the Italian Metalworking Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
