Your new department

You will be part of the Quality team in Mexico, playing a key role in the logistics operation. Working closely with Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and strategic 3PL partners. You will be part of a high-impact environment during a critical phase of operational transition and growth. Quality is deeply connected to business performance, product availability, and compliance. Collaborative culture with strong focus on pragmatism and risk-based decision-making.

Your new role

As our QA Operations Manager you will lead Quality Operations for warehousing and distribution, ensuring full GDP compliance. You will:

Act as a Quality Business Partner to Supply Chain, Commercial and 3PL partners.

Own:

Quality oversight of the 3PL (including transition to a new logistics provider)

Deviations, CAPAs, and operational quality processes

Product release, returns, and temperature control of a biotech portfolio

Drive:

KPI visibility and data-driven decision-making (dashboards, reporting)

Shift from reactive firefighting to proactive quality management

Lead and develop a team (2 direct reports + external support)

Remain close to operations, including regular presence in the warehouse (hands-on leadership)

Must have requirements

Strong experience in GDP, distribution, and cold chain Quality operations (hands-on in warehouses) at least 5 to 7 years.

Proven experience managing 3PLs / logistics providers and strong knowledge of local regulations (COFEPRIS, NOM059)

Background in Quality Assurance (multinational pharma or consumer goods companies)

Experience with: GDP, Deviations, CAPAs, and risk management

Experience leading teams (min. ~2 years)

Ability to operate in high-pressure, operational environments

Advanced English

Nice to have

Experience in logistics transitions / 3PL migrations

Exposure to data analytics, dashboards, or automation

Background in continuous improvement or digital transformation

Capabilities

Strong“how-to-make-it-work” mindset

High level of proactivity and ownership

Leadership by influence, especially with 3PLs and cross-functional stakeholders

Balance between:

Quality rigor

Business pragmatism

Ability to combine operational execution with strategic thinking (50/50)
